Played a handful of games for Leeds after playing in non-league
football in Cheshire. He appeared for England in a services
international, but that was the height of his recognition as he
continued his career in the lower divisions. He died in 1993.
Trevor Frost (his grandson) says: the transfer fee that was paid
for Desmond Frost from Leeds to Congleton Town Football Club was
used to build their ground. He was also renowned for his heading
ability.
Anthony Frost (yet another grandson) says: From what my dad has
told me my grandad was a very good player. I never saw my grandad
play from what I can remember but from what I have been told he was
a good player.
