A fringe full-back for Leeds, Tony Ingham only made three
appearances in three years at Elland Road, but he had an amazing
career at Loftus Road with over 500 league appearances. He stayed
with the club when he retired from playing, doing a bit of coaching
and then working on the commercial side of the operation.
David Ingham (his son) says: Tony, is still alive and living in
Stanmore, Middlesex. I know he is saddened by the demise of QPR and
misses his trips to Elland Road to meet old friends. He was always
pleased to meet the gentle giant John Charles a friend for many
years. He has a Leeds programme in his loft with his picture on the
front page.
Garry Maddox says: officially Tony actually played 555 games for
QPR which is a club record.
tony kutner says: i live next door to him and he's a bloody nice
man, good to my kids and has been for the last 10 years i've known
him
