Steve Hodge was a veteran of several top clubs when he joined
Leeds, but spent most of his time on the bench as the midfielders
he would have replaced kept their fitness and form. An enthusiastic
player and with no small talent, he played well when Leeds needed
him, but did not add to his 24 caps after arriving at Elland Road.
He only scored 10 goals in his time at Leeds - but he gave us all
something to remember him by when he found the net against
Liverpool at Elland Road to give Leeds the first win against the
Reds in 18 years. After leaving Watford Hodge had a spell out in
Hong Kong before returning to play for Leyton Orient on a
non-contract basis.
In summer 2002 it was reported that he'd started training with
non-league side Gresley Rovers, managed by our very own Jon
Newsome!

Player. I'm a Forest fan and saw him play on many occasions, but
unfortunetly Never got to meet him! Anyone know what He's upto
now?

Spurs and was sorry to see him go.He was nice lad off the field we
had few dinks and a laugh together.Had a great engine on the
park.
