Belfast-born striker who never made it in the first team but who
was doing pretty well for the reserves. After a successful loan
spell with Bournemouth towards the end of 2000-01 the move became
permanent in the close season. He became the third generation of
his family to represent his country when he made his international
debut in a friendly in November 2001 (although as such it didn't
count as a full international).
His goalscoring skills helped establish him as a favorite with
the fans on the South Coast, and he won the Player of the Year
award and finished as top scorer in 2001-02.
Emma 1 says: I think Warren is a magnificant player, just like
his two brothers Lee (Rangers FC) and Cullen (Portadown FC).
Hopefully if he keeps his chin up he'll make it, which is what he
deserves.
Treva and Steven say: We think Leeds let go a superstar, his
cousins Lee and Cullen are also great. We have created a club for the
family, please visit + thanks and good luck in UEFA Cup.
James Geary (jock) says: warren was a star at school and every1
kne he had the potential to make it big he went to leeds with the
standard he played at home was a big difference he has prooved he
could be a star in the future good luck mate
Feeney's no.1 fan says: I think warren is a brilliant player and
his cousins lee and cullen are also brilliant. Rangers let go off a
good player they never gave lee a chance to show what talents he
has and cullen is a real rock to portadown.
David McMath says: I went to school with Warren at Strandtown
Primary School in Belfast. He was quite a close friend of mine and
we used to play quite a bit after school in Belmont Park(although
it was obvious he was going to make it and I wasn't) Fair play to
him though I wish him all the luck in the world. Good luck at
Bournemouth Warren. I always watch out for the result to see how
you are doing. He was always a bit of a lady's man as well if I
remember rightly.
Feeney is d best says: I regularly see Feeney play @ AFC
B'mouth. He is an excellent player, and always gets the team's
spirits up.
Jonny Rea says: I went to school with Warren and played many
matches with him at Strandtown Primary. We new he was good as he
was playing for our P7 team even though he was a over a year
younger than the rest of us. I hope he makes it back to a Prem
division, the NI team are short of stars at the minute.
Goodluck

cullen are brothers and warren is their cousin

Primary P7 team when he was in P6. I seem to remember him scoring a
hat trick nearly every match. I also managed to poach a few of the
rebounds if the keeper did make a save!!! Hope he goes far and
becomes an NI regular...
Clare says: Warren is a fantastic player, and a good servant to
football. As a Stockport fan I was delighted when he joined us in
last summer, for what is peanuts for such a good players. I have
met him a few times, and hes always been nice, and never ignores
someone, he will talk to them for as long as they want. Good luck
to the man, and I hope he is still top scorer come the end of the
season! FEENO 4 N IRELAND
