Youth team player who has had some success in the reserves and
is about to break into the first team squad. Made his first team
debut in Florence against Hapoel Tel-Aviv and put in a very
self-assured display when he had to come on for the injured Lucas
Radebe.
2003-04 will provide a stern test of his abilities and maturity
as the injury-prone regulars at the heart of Leeds' defence will
almost certainly give him enough opportunity to show what he can
do.
woodys_gal says: if he's as good as woody then leeds r proud to
have him!
kk says: Word is that Kilgallon is a better player than Woodgate
was at this age. Great prospect.
Tom Kilgallon says: Matthew must be a descendant of the
Kilgallons from Bohola, County Mayo, Ireland. How can I find
out?
Ed H says: Used to live next door to Matthew when he was young.
He had a habit of sneaking through the hedge to play footy with me
and my brother, with that sort of dedication he was always destined
for greatness!!
Donna *smithys number 1* says: Matty ure wkd! n i think u did
really well when terry put ya in like i sed u n fraser r gunna b

up in the premiership!!!! peter reed, why look for more players
when you've already got a star right under your nose!!!
Adam says: Hi mat if u read this its Adam havent seen you for a
few weeks hope ure havin a good time! Keep up the good work! Mat
goes out with my cousin so i see him quite reguarly. Hes a realy
gud lad.
and again please...... says: peter reed, you've got all these
players on loan and when they leave you'll be left with nothing!
because your treating the majority of the young players, pertential
stars poorly!!
Nax Garkiw says: All I can say is thank God his loan spell at
Upton Park is nearly over, because, with Matteo injured again, and
Da Chief mysteriously out of the side, we need someone to come in
and oust the utterly ineffectual Roque Jr. And since he's used to
playing alongside Dubes in the Reserves, a central partnership of
Duberry-Kilgallon could sort out our defensive woes. And if nothing
else, his regular presence in the side could earn us a few million
in transfer fees a year or two from now.
Mark Kilgallon says: Great to see a Kilgallon is doing the name
proud (unlike the rest of us). Best of luck Matt.
Laura, Burton whistle says: Glad 2 av Kilgallon bak wiv us! he
