French striker signed on loan from Olympique Marseille. He
started out with Niort in Ligue 2 in France, moving up to the top
flight with Stade Rennes in summer 2000. He was only there for a
season and a half, but had done enough to persuade Marseille to
sign him up in January 2002. Not had the greatest amount of success
in front of goal so far but we'll see what he can do for us in the
Premier League.
When Eddie Gray took over, his chances closed off completely,
and the only real highlight of his season was a hat-trick against
Cambridge in John Taylor's testimonial match. He returned to France
and went out on loan to Racing Strasbourg - with Leeds committed to
continuing to pay a large proportion of his wages until the end of
the season.
