Jabba's Comments |
Born in Douala, Serge Branco has spent all of his footballing
career in Germany. He started out in regional football with
Eintracht Brunschwig, moving on to Frankfurt after he won a gold
medal as part of Cameroun's Olympic football side in the Sydney
2000 Olympics. His first season at Frankfurt saw them relegated to
the Bundesliga, but after 2 seasons in the wilderness they regained
the top flight with Branco a regular. He switched to Stuttgart in
the summer, but never quite hit it off with the manager and was
made available on a free in summer 2004, allowing Kevin Blackwell
to pick him up for Leeds. Notionally a left-sided defender, Branco
has spent a large part of his career operating in midfield. Barely
a fortnight after signing for Leeds, he was released as Kevin
Blackwell decided his fitness levels were too far off the mark and
he wasn't the sort of player he was looking for.
Sebastian says: Hello! Since I am a Frankfurt supporter, I saw
him several times and I finally can say: Congratulations for having
released him! Greetings from Germany

note to the spammers who try to add their links to this page by

the server side does similar checks and throws your garbage
