Jabba's Comments |
Roly Depear was signed from non-league Boston United - a tall
and strong centre half - but only made 5 appearances for Major
Frank Buckley's side. Probably the most significant thing about
Depear's career with Leeds was his departure: he was used in a
part-exchange deal with Newport that brought Harold Williams to
Elland Road. Since Depear had only cost Leeds £500 and was
valued at 16 times that amount a year later as part of the deal, he
proved a very shrewd acquisition by the club.

note to the spammers who try to add their links to this page by

the server side does similar checks and throws your garbage
straight into the bit bucket.
