Jabba's Comments |
Signed from the north-east amateur scene, Robson made a great
start at Elland Road but an injury saw him lose his place and never
regain it after just 17 games. A year at Southend was followed by a
return to the north-east with Hartlepools, and he remained in his
native Durham until his death at the age of 72.
Margaret Hedley says: I represent the local history group in the
area where Cuthbert Robson lived - Wheatley Hill - we are busy
preparing a book of the area and would like to include details of
Cuthbert - do you have a photograph of him that we could use
please? We would be very grateful for your help

Have your say
Did you see Cuthbert Robson play? Did you meet him in a pub, go
to school with him, decorate his house or buy a motor from him? If
you've got any comments or stories about Cuthbert Robson on or off
the pitch, just fill in the form below and (provided they're not
blatantly libellous) I'll add them to this page. And just a quick
note to the spammers who try to add their links to this page by
attempting to get round the client-side validation: don't bother -
the server side does similar checks and throws your garbage
straight into the bit bucket.
