Reserve team keeper who was a member of the Youth Cup winning
side of 1993, but who never made a full appearance for Leeds and
who has fulfilled a similar role for several other clubs. In March
2001 he went on loan to Kettering - where he'd spent a brief spell
on loan while at Leeds - to link up with Carl Shutt and help them
in their push for promotion when their main keeper was injured.
At the end of the 2002-03 season, he was released by Lincoln
City and returned to Kettering as first-choice keeper under their
new manager Dominic Genovese. Skipping forward to 2004, we now find
him at Harrogate Town along with several other one-time Leeds
youngsters.
Amy says: In the season 2000/01 he spent most of his time on the
subs bench but when called on he produced some good skills.
Saffron Pettinger says: Paul Pettinger is related to me! I am
called Saffron Pettinger, Paul is my Grandads cousins son.
